David Thong

David Thong has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Lead Advisor at the Mobile Shop, providing customer service and promoting cellular products. In 2014, they also served as a Service Support Worker at the London Health Sciences Centre.

In 2013 and 2015, David worked at Corporate Inquiry Systems as a Pre-Employment Specialist, collaborating with clients to address their screening needs. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Recruiter and Contract Compliance Analyst at St. Joseph's Health Care, responsible for recruitment support and contract compliance oversight.

Starting in 2020, David took on the role of a Human Resources Recruitment Advisor at London Health Sciences Centre, where they collaborated with hiring managers and unions to fulfill staffing needs and address concerns. David then moved to TG Minto Corporation in 2021 as a Human Resources Specialist, specializing in employee relations and performance management.

In 2022, David worked at Woodstock Hospital as a Human Resources Coordinator before joining JMP Solutions as a Human Resources Specialist. Currently, they are employed by Agilus Work Solutions as a Plant Human Resources Manager at the 3M manufacturing plant in London, Ontario.

Throughout their career, David has contributed to various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and strategic planning. David demonstrates a commitment to supporting their community, as seen during their role as a Resident Support Aide at St. Joseph's Health Care in 2021.

David Thong's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Western University, where they studied Biology. After completing their studies at Western University in 2011, David then pursued a Human Resources Advanced Diploma at Fanshawe College from 2011 to 2014. During their time at Fanshawe College, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Human Resource Professional from the Human Resources Professionals Association in June 2014.

Subsequently, David Thong attended Waterford Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General. Most recently, in 2021, they enrolled in the Mortgage Agent Course at the Real Estate and Mortgage Institute of Canada Inc. This course focused on acquiring knowledge and skills related to being a Mortgage Agent.

In addition to their formal education, David Thong obtained a certification as a Certified Human Resource Professional from the Human Resources Professionals Association in June 2014.
