Agne Kuzmickaite is one of the most prominent Lithuanian fashion designers of a young generation. She is working both in the sphere of fashion and theatre, has collaborated with famous Lithuanian theatre directors Oskaras Korsunovas and Jonas Vaitkus. Agne has worked as a costume designer in a more than fifteen different drama and opera productions both in Lithuania and abroad.
 
As a fashion designer Agne Kuzmickaite is exceptional for her functional conceptuality. Designer is analyzing various themes of common life and has artistic approach towards different objects of everyday , incorporating them into clothes design. Her special creative task is to capture the process, the action and the dynamics, and to find meaning in the duality of certain opposites.
 
Kuzmickaite’s designs have already won several awards, the most prestigious of which is the Best Upcomming Designer Award in the European young designers competition Createurope: The Fashion Academy Award in Berlin received for the collection “Shopoholic” in 2008.
