Agnos Biosciences is a dual-use deep tech venture that developed AirSeq™, a rapid DNA airsequencing technology for agnostic microbe and pathogen detection. The technology was developed by the Natural History Museum & Earlham Institute, culminating 10+ years of R&D. 

The AirSeq™ technology, a combination of novel molecular biology sequencing methods and bespoke bioinformatics, enables the detection of DNA from any organism, in the air. The technology is capable of highly accurate, near real-time identification of bacteria, viruses, fungi, pollen or any other biological material, with a low false positive rate of <1 in 10 million. 

Use cases are found in food safety in food manufacturing (detecting the top 15 pathogenic bacteria in one air sample), biosecurity & pandemic readiness (detecting and understanding the spread of biological threats), biopharma (lowering microbial contamination risk of bioreactors) and clinical health. 

Results can be made available within hours of having taken a DNA sample.
