Chip Giller is a seasoned media professional with a career spanning over two decades in environmental advocacy and journalism. They began as an editor at Greenwire from 1995 to 1998, then served as the New Media Director at EARTHDAY.ORG until 2002. Giller founded Grist and held the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Creative Officer from 1999 to 2017. They were also a Senior Fellow at the Environmental Leadership Program from 2001 to 2003. Currently, Giller is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Agog, a position they have held since 2023.
