Lene Thorstensen is an experienced geology professional with a diverse background in operations and wellsite geology. Currently serving as Manager Operations and Wellsite Geology at AGR since July 2020, Lene has held various positions including Assistant Team Leader and Project Responsible, and Coordinator Operations and Wellsite geology. Prior experience includes roles at First Geo as a Wellsite Geologist, and at Baker Hughes as Field Spec 1-SLS, with offshore data operations. Lene's earlier work includes a Geologist position at Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani AS and field assistance during geological mapping and seismic studies while studying at the University of Tromsø. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geology from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, alongside military training in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
