Functional Safety Manager at AGREAT

Sofie Weidenlöv has diverse work experience in various roles related to functional safety, user experience design, and corporate relations. Sofie is currently working at Volvo Group as a Functional Safety Product Leader, responsible for team management, process development, and cross-functional forums. Prior to that, they worked as a Functional Safety Manager at AGREAT, participating in customer projects and organizing in-house courses. Sofie also worked as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Engineer at Carabiner AB, where they were involved in business strategies, branding, and recruitment activities. Sofie has previous experience at Volvo Group as a Functional Safety Manager and Senior Human Factors Engineer/HMI Engineer. Sofie also worked at the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management as a UX Designer & Requirements Engineer, leading the design of a web-based application for professional fishermen. Additionally, Sofie gained experience in corporate relations at Chalmers International Taiwan Office (CITO), where they focused on enhancing opportunities for Chalmers students and facilitating cooperation between Swedish companies and institutions in East Asia. Sofie also has experience as an Interaction Designer and Master Thesis Student in various organizations such as ÅF, AstraZeneca, SHL Group, and National Chiao Tung University.

Sofie Weidenlöv began their education at Chalmers University of Technology from 2008 to 2013, where they studied Automation & Mechatronics, Product development, and Interaktion design. Sofie then attended the University of Gothenburg from 2007 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science & Management. In 2013, they briefly studied Mandarin at National Chiao Tung University. Additionally, they pursued Psychology, Cognition, and Behaviorism at Halmstad University from 2008 to 2009, and obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in March 2022.
