Yael Phillip

Yael Phillip has a background in bioactive compound discovery and data science. They co-founded and served as the VP of R&D at Agrematch, an AI-based data-science company focused on sustainable bioactive compounds. Prior to that, they worked at Monsanto Company as a team lead and senior scientist. Yael also has experience as a post-doctoral researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Yael Phillip obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology with a research track for outstanding students from Tel Aviv University between the years 2002 and 2005. Following that, Yael pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2005 to 2007. Finally, Yael completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, starting in 2007 and finishing in 2012.
