The "National Agricultural Olympiad" is an innovative and educational initiative that is the pioneering knowledge-based quiz competition across the country. The project aims to increase awareness, interest, and acquaintance among school and college students in agriculture, agricultural mechanization, food technology, zoology, fisheries, biodiversity, environmental protection and ensuring better nutrition. The inimitable event will be held at the forefront of transforming agriculture into the "smart agriculture" of tomorrow and will engage the younger generation of students through awareness raising. Since today’s young generation will be the leaders of smart agriculture in the future, it will be conceivable to create a new future for the agriculture sector. It will happen only if the youth are aware, which will build a Bangladesh with sustainable modern agricultural technology, ensuring food security and better nutrition. 

The theme of the National Agricultural Olympiad is “Empower youth for a smarter Bangladesh: sustainable agriculture, better nutrition, and food security”. This Olympiad will play an important role in Bangladesh's sustainable agriculture and in the long run increase productivity in the country and ensure improved nutrition and implementation of SDG goals 2, 4, 13, 15 &17
