Jorge Vidal

Jorge Fernández Vidal serves as the Managing Director and Head of Agriculture & Food at Liechtenstein Group since 2021, overseeing the firm's portfolio and investments in the sector. In addition to this role, Jorge holds multiple board memberships at companies such as PowerPollen, N-Drip Gravity Micro Irrigation, Valle del Guadiana SL, Agritask, and Green Universe Agriculture, as well as an advisory position at Galp. Jorge is also a Co-Founder of Vindoo, which focuses on utilizing artificial intelligence for fruit yield estimation, and a Research Fellow at the Centre for African and Development Studies. In academia, Jorge has been an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at IE Business School since 2018, recognized with several teaching awards. Educational credentials include an MBA from INSEAD, a PhD in Business Economics from Universitat d'Alacant, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from University College Cork, along with multiple undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various disciplines.
