Duncan Aust

Duncan Aust, Ph.D, has extensive experience in various roles within the research and development field. Duncan is currently the Chief Technology Officer at AgroFresh since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Mentor at the Nordic Mentor Network For Entrepreneurship - NOME since February 2021 and as a Board Member at FaunaPhotonics since November 2020. Duncan also worked as a Business Advisor at BioInnovation Institute / Copenhagen University from January 2021 to August 2021. Before these roles, they held positions at FMC Corporation, where they served as the Head of Plant Health Global R&D and EMEA R&D from November 2017 to December 2020, and as the Global Director of Innovation, APG Group, from August 2010 to November 2017. Prior to FMC, Duncan worked at Healthpoint as the Snr. Vice President of Research & Development from February 2005 to August 2010. Duncan also held the position of Vice President of Research & Development at DPT Laboratories from 2002 to 2005 and was the Director of Development Services at The Collaborative Group, Ltd. from 1995 to 2000.

Duncan Aust Ph.D obtained their Ph.D in Biotechnology from King's College London, completing their studies from 1986 to 1994.
