Bernardo Pires

Bernardo Pires is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management. Since 2025, they have served as the Manager of Government Relations at Agrotools and previously held the position of Sustainability Director at ABIOVE from 2009 to 2023, where they coordinated key initiatives such as the Soy Moratorium and various sustainability committees. Bernardo began their career as a Technical Analyst at Ibama and went on to work as an Environmental Coordinator at Veracel Celulose S/A. They hold a Master's degree in Ecology and Silviculture from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, where they also earned a degree in Forestry Engineering.
