Debarshi Sengupta

Debarshi Sengupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Debarshi is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Agrovision Corp, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Angel Investor and Member at Sustainable Local Food Investment Group and held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Farmer Focus - Shenandoah Valley Organic, from July 2021 to December 2022.

Debarshi also co-founded Clarity Food Ventures LLC in 2019, where they played a significant role in establishing the company and managing all finance functions. Before that, they co-founded SureTaste Foods LLC in 2019.

Debarshi has extensive experience in the corporate development and financial planning sector as well. Debarshi worked as the Chief Financial Officer for FoodTech Protein at JBT Corporation from April 2018 to April 2019, and they held various positions within the company, including Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, where they oversaw M&A activities, investor relations, and financial planning.

Earlier in their career, Debarshi worked at Banc of America Securities as an Investment Banking Associate in the Consumer & Retail Industry Group and at BMO Capital Markets as an Associate. Debarshi also gained experience as a New Product Planning Engineer at Altera Corp.

Throughout their career, Debarshi has demonstrated their expertise in finance, corporate development, investor relations, and strategy.

Debarshi Sengupta completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained an MBA and MEM degree in Finance and Operations from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management between 2005 and 2007.
