Wade Abel

Wade Abel is currently the Director of Education and Gemology at the American Gem Society, a role they began in 2023. Prior to this, Wade served as Laboratory Project Manager and held several key positions within the American Gem Society and AGS Laboratories, including Director of Gemological Services and Grading Analytics and Quality Manager. Wade's extensive background in gemology includes a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University. From 2004 to 2014, Wade also showcased their talents as a dancer and principal understudy at Bally's Jubilee!.
