Mike Helmkamp is an experienced professional in the agricultural sales sector with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Seed Lead at AgState since December 2022, Mike has previously held key sales and management roles at NuTech Seed, LLC, Rob-See-Co, and AgReliant Genetics, LLC, where responsibilities included dealer development, territory analysis, training, and sales strategy implementation. Earlier roles include Sales Representative positions at MYCOGEN SEEDS and ASGROW SEED COMPANY, where significant sales growth was achieved. Mike's background also encompasses agronomy management and military service as a Staff Sergeant in the Iowa National Guard. Academically, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business from Iowa State University and an Associate of Arts in Agricultural Business and Management from Iowa Lakes Community College.
