John Vink

John Vink has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. John began their career as an Intern at North Star Alliance in 2010, followed by an Assistant Economist role at the South African Reserve Bank in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Monitor Deloitte, where they held the roles of Engagement Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. John then moved to AFGRI Operations Limited, where they served as Head of Advisory & Special Projects and Strategic Business Manager until 2022. John currently holds the role of Senior Product Manager at AgVend.

John Vink is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. John is also enrolled in an Executive MBA in Food and Agribusiness at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Economics at Stellenbosch University, a Postgraduate exchange program in Economics at Maastricht University, an Advanced Diploma in Central Banking in Macroeconomics at UNISA, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Politics, Philosophy & Economics at the University of Cape Town, and attended St Stithians Boys College.
