Thomas Maier

Thomas Maier is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg within the Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab since October 2022. Thomas serves as the Chief Technology Officer at AGVOLUTION GmbH from March 2020 and has experience as a Visiting Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Thomas engaged in benchmarking machine learning algorithms and delivered guest lectures. Thomas completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2018 and finished graduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the same university in March 2021, specializing in electromagnetic compatibility, field theory, sensors, and RFID technologies. Thomas also participated in exchange programs at the University of Strathclyde and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, enhancing international academic perspectives.
