Kara McCarty

Kara McCarty currently serves as a Project Manager and Product Owner for the Rapid Assess Team at AHEAD since 2021. In this role, responsibilities include managing projects and overseeing product development. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Consultant and Project Manager for the Health Payer Group and Platform & Cloud Engineering Group from 2021 to 2025. From 2009 to 2021, Kara held the role of Consulting Project Manager at KMVA Services, providing project management and business operations support. Additional experience includes project management roles at Elluminis Consulting Group, CSRA Inc, Fannie Mae, and Wells Fargo, where Kara supported various teams and operations in the health and finance sectors. Kara McCarty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Colorado Mesa University and a Master of Public Administration from Wichita State University's Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs.
