Mark Killian

Mark Killian is the VP of Finance at AHEAD. Mark has over 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and has held various leadership positions at companies such as Forsythe Technology, Salo LLC, and William Blair & Company. At Forsythe Technology, they led a team of 13 to complete all financial planning and analysis activities for the company. Mark has also been responsible for developing and executing annual budgets, forecasting processes, and profitability models. In addition, they have evaluated investment opportunities for strategic fit and financial return profile. Most recently, at AHEAD, they have been responsible for leading the finance team and partnering with the executive team to develop long-term financial plans.

Mark Killian's educational career began at Buffalo Grove High School. Mark then went on to study accountancy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a B.S. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to pursue a Masters of Business Administration in finance and general business at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Upon graduating from Stanford, they obtained certifications from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst and from the AICPA as a Certified Public Accountant.

Their manager is Peter Theodore, Chief Administrative Officer. Mark Killian works with Diva Neims - Director, Human Resources, Sue Kissel - VP, Accounting & Finance, and Roxanne Corkin - Senior Counsel.
