The mission of the Advanced Health Education Center (AHEC) Foundation is to support and empower healthcare professionals by providing training opportunities in the medical imaging sciences—ultimately enhancing patient care through education and skill development.

The heart of our mission begins with this powerhouse group of women: leaders in education, healthcare, operations, and advocacy, united in their commitment to expanding access to imaging education and creating pathways for the next generation of radiologic technologists.

👩‍⚕️ Jence Garza – Vice President
A champion for students and technologists, Jence shapes high-impact learning experiences that bridge the classroom and the clinic.

👩‍⚕️ Kelli Reddix – Secretary/Treasurer
With a background in healthcare staffing and operations, Kelli leads with vision, grit, and a relentless focus on access and equity.

👩‍⚕️ Melanie Hail – Founding Board Member
A respected voice in imaging leadership, Melanie brings fresh energy, mentorship, and outreach to our growing network.

👩‍⚕️ Peggy Hoosier – Founding Board Member

Together, we’re building something bigger than ourselves: a future where education is accessible, opportunity is equitable, and technologists are fully supported in their careers.
