Ericka Coplin

Ericka Coplin, RHIA, CCS, is the Senior Manager of Education, Coding & Revenue Cycle Management at AHIMA. With over 20 years of experience in Health Information Management, they have a robust background in coding and management, including 8 years as a Coding Coordinator at an acute care hospital. Ericka has also served as a Coding Educator at Franciscan Alliance, Inc., and currently holds a position as an Adjunct Instructor at Stark State College. They completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration from the University of Cincinnati, achieving a 4.0 GPA, and hold an Associate's degree from Stark State College along with a Medical Coding certificate. Ericka is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success at the University of Cincinnati and is dedicated to advancing their expertise in coding education, data analytics, and HIM innovations.
