Jamil Berro

Jamil Berro is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in treasury and investments, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Treasury and Investments and Chief Dealer at Ahlibank Qatar since July 2018. Prior to this role, Jamil held key positions at the International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) from April 2010 to June 2018, including Chief Dealer and Senior Dealer in Asset Liability Management, where responsibilities encompassed liquidity monitoring, risk management, and advisory on profitability. Jamil's career began at IBQ in 2007, progressing from a Customer Service Advisor to Junior Dealer, with a focus on cash flow management and foreign exchange operations. Jamil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business with an emphasis on Banking and Finance from the Lebanese American University.
