Narayan Jayaraman

Narayan Jayaraman has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Narayan currently holds the position of Head - Financial Reporting at ahlibank, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at MUFG from September 2018 to December 2020 as AVP & Assistant Controller, where they were responsible for managing financial and regulatory reporting, as well as being involved in the implementation of a new financial reporting system. Before joining MUFG, Narayan worked at ICICI Bank Canada from September 2012 to September 2018, where they held the role of Manager and handled various financial solutions for personal, commercial, and corporate clients. Narayan also had a managerial role at ICICI Bank in India from November 2010 to September 2012, handling a wide range of banking services. Earlier in their career, Narayan worked at Ahli United Bank as an Assistant Manager from June 2008 to October 2010, and at KPMG Fakhro, Bahrain as an Assistant Manager in Audit and Assurance from July 2007 to May 2008.

Narayan Jayaraman completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accountancy from the University of Mumbai between 1999 and 2004. Narayan then pursued further studies in Accounting and Finance at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a Chartered Accountancy degree from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their educational background, Narayan Jayaraman also obtained a certification in Management Development Program - Leadership Beyond Boundaries from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in November 2021.
