Eric Huizing

Eric Huizing has extensive experience in investment management and board governance, currently serving as VP Investments at Ahold since March 2000, where responsibilities include overseeing the relationship with fiduciary manager Achmea IM and ensuring an optimal investment portfolio. Huizing has held significant roles as Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Investment Committee at BNY Mellon from October 2017 to July 2023, and as Board Member and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Pensioenfonds UWV from August 2015 to July 2023. Huizing's earlier experiences include managerial roles at Aegon and various positions at Euronext. Huizing holds an Executive Program in Corporate Social Responsibility from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Register Beleggingsanalist (RBA) designation from Vereniging van Beleggingsanalisten, along with a Drs in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
