Tom Risen

Tom Risen is an award-winning business journalist currently serving as Editor-in-Chief of Vertiflite magazine, where they report on engineering and travel trends shaping the future of flight. They are also the co-author of the New York Times bestselling book *The Last Honest Man* and are in the process of writing a non-fiction book about U.S. national intelligence. Risen previously held reporting roles at various prestigious publications, including U.S. News & World Report and Cirium, where their investigative work contributed to significant climate change research funding preservation. Their education includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
