Athanasios Blanas

Athanasios Blanas is a seasoned food safety auditor with over 15 years of experience in the certification business. They hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessalonikis and have served as a Senior Product Manager at EUROCERT S.A since 2005, conducting food safety audits for ISO 22000, IFS, and FSSC standards. They also perform BRC V7 audits and serve as a lead auditor for BRC at both AIB International, Inc. and Eurofins Food Safety Solutions. Additionally, they have worked as a Hygiene Inspector with the East Attika Veterinary Department and supervised audit reports and conducted seminars on food safety standards throughout their career.
