Robert Young is the Vice President of Strategic Innovation at Aicadium, a position held since March 2022. As the Owner Principal of Lab Insights, LLC since November 2013, Robert provides consulting services in various areas including clinical laboratory quality management systems, molecular diagnostics, laboratory informatics, and strategic laboratory operations. Previous roles include UI/UX and technical expert at SimpleLims, informatics consultant at LabAnswer, director of compliance and quality control at VantagePoint Laboratory Partners, and CLIA laboratory supervisor at Veracyte, Inc. Robert began a career in clinical laboratory science at Quest Diagnostics, focusing on molecular microbiology and genetics. Robert holds an M.S. in Bioinformatics from New York University and a B.S. in Cell Biology/Biochemistry from Bucknell University.
