Silviu Nistor is an experienced professional in the fields of research, development, and analytics, currently serving as Head of R&D and Analytics and Co-Founder & CTO at HomeLINK since August 2017. Under Silviu's leadership, HomeLINK has emerged as the largest and fastest growing smart home solution in the social housing market, deploying over 100,000 IoT devices to address various challenges such as condensation, fuel poverty, and fire safety. Prior to HomeLINK, Silviu worked as a SAS Consultant at SBI Consulting NV/SA, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Data Intelligence, and as a Research Engineer at Toshiba Research Europe Limited, where involvement included projects related to electrification of transport and hydrogen production. Silviu holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cardiff University, a MSc in Communication Systems from Swansea University, and a BEng in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași.
