Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson, CPA, CGMA has extensive work experience in the accounting and finance field. Brian is currently the Director of Audit and Attest Standards at the AICPA. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud. From 2020 to 2021, Brian worked as the Vice President and Corporate Controller at MyEyeDr. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Corporate Controller at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2017 to 2020 and at CSRA Inc (Spin Off from CSC) from 2015 to 2017. Brian also worked as the Head of Global Accounting Policy at CSC from 2014 to 2015. Brian has experience in professional practice as the Director of Professional Practice at the Center for Audit Quality from 2013 to 2014. Brian's earlier career includes working as the Director of Accounting Advisory Services at KPMG, LLP from 2003 to 2012 and as a Technical Research Assistant at the Financial Accounting Standards Board from 2002 to 2003.

Brian Wilson, CPA, CGMA received their MS / BA in Accounting from Michigan State University. Brian is also a Certified Public Accountant (Virginia) through the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
