Jon Mabe

Jon Mabe has a range of experience in the field of IT audit, security, and privacy. Jon started their career as a Manager of Business Advisory Services at Grant Thornton LLP from September 2004 to October 2011. Jon then joined AICPA as a Manager of Security & Privacy in January 2013. Later, they became the DPO & Associate Director of IT Audit and Privacy at AICPA in 2018.

Jon Mabe obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In 2001, they also studied Accounting and Computer Science at the University of Utah. Jon holds additional certifications in CISA from ISACA, obtained in 2008, and CIPP/E from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
