Marcy Smith

Marcy Smith possesses extensive editorial experience, currently serving as a Copy Editor at AICPA since January 2019. Previously, from 2008 to August 2016, Marcy worked with F+W Media, Inc. as an Editor for notable publications including Interweave Crochet and Love of Crochet, managing multiple issues with significant circulation. Earlier experience includes a decade at The News & Observer, where Marcy held roles as Books Editor, crafts columnist, and copy editor, culminating in the position of Literary Editor. Marcy's academic credentials include a PhD in Literature and Rhetoric from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MA in Literature from Wake Forest University, and a BA in English and Education from Albertus Magnus College.
