Lars Vinden

Lars Vinden has extensive experience in the legal and data protection fields. Lars began their career at FINN.no, where they served as Head of Consumer Protection, Data Protection Officer, and Legal Counsel. During this time, they developed and implemented the company's consumer protection strategy and handled issues such as fraud prevention and privacy. Lars also acted as the company's data protection officer and provided legal counsel on various matters.

Following their time at FINN.no, Lars worked at Schibsted Media Group as the Group Privacy Officer. In this role, they created and managed Schibsted's privacy program and office and acted as the group's data protection officer. Lars provided advice on privacy and data protection issues across the company's subsidiaries worldwide.

Lars then joined Transcendent Group as the Head of Privacy and Data Protection, Norway. Lars developed a strategy for the company's expansion into privacy and data protection in Norway and worked on projects with clients, including a large data anonymization project at Telia Norge and assisting a multinational media company with GDPR compliance.

Lars later worked at Telia Norge as the Corporate Privacy Counsel and Privacy Officer. In this role, Lars was responsible for all data protection and privacy initiatives within the company. Lars played a major role in Telia Company's group-wide privacy program and focused on turning GDPR compliance into a competitive advantage.

Lars also worked as a Senior Lawyer at Wikborg Rein, specializing in privacy, technology, and digitalization. Additionally, they held a position at JUS - Juristenes Utdanningssenter as a Lecturer and Advisory Board Member, focusing on data protection and privacy.

In 2020, Lars joined reMarkable as the VP and Head of Legal, overseeing legal matters within the company. Lars then moved on to TechGC as a Charter Member, and most recently, they became the Head of Legal at Aidn.

Throughout their career, Lars has demonstrated expertise in data protection, privacy, legal counsel, and strategy development.

Lars Vinden has a diverse education history. Lars began their studies in 1999 at the University of Oslo (UiO), where they obtained a degree in law, specifically a Cand. jur / Master of Law, in 2004. During their time at UiO, Lars also participated in an exchange program at The University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002, focusing on law studies.

Later on, in 2013, Lars enrolled in BI Norwegian Business School and pursued a Master of Management degree. In the course of their studies at BI Norwegian Business School, Lars specialized in Module 1: Strategic Business Development and Innovation, completing their degree in 2014.
