Ronald Baars

Ronald Baars is an experienced Design system engineer who has worked at various companies throughout their career. Ronald started their career as an intern at FBI Design, where they gained experience in using Photoshop and building custom WordPress templates. Ronald then interned at Fusionlab Digital Marketing, where they focused on advertising and worked on one of the Netherlands' biggest diet platforms. Ronald continued their internship at XXS, specializing in graphic design for brands like Mercedes Benz and Heineken.

After their internships, Ronald worked at Fusionlab Digital Marketing as a Creative Developer, contributing to their advertising efforts. Ronald then joined Superhero Cheesecake as a Creative Developer, collaborating on animation and creating unforgettable interactive experiences. After their internship there, they worked as a freelance motion designer for a few weeks.

Ronald then joined JustPremium as a Creative Developer and Creative Team Lead, where they built and optimized the creative team's processes to meet short deadlines. Ronald later transitioned to Label A as a Front-end Developer, focusing on shared mobility solutions and developing a solution to open car doors through the internet.

Their next role was at Cognite AS, where they became the Lead Design System Engineer. Ronald worked on leading the design system team and contributed to the development of the design system. Currently, Ronald is employed at Aidn as a Design system engineer, where they continue to utilize their skills and expertise.

Ronald Baars completed their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2012, they studied at Mediacollege Amsterdam, where they obtained an MBO degree in interactive media design. Following this, between 2012 and 2016, Ronald attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in interactive media design. Ronald obtained additional certifications, including a Bachelor Communication and Multimedia Design - 4yr from Hogeschool van Amsterdam | Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in September 2016, and a Graduate Interactive Design - 4yr from Mediacollege Amsterdam in September 2012.
