Ariel Persiko

Ariel Persiko is an accomplished Senior AI and Natural Language Processing Engineer within the CTO Team at Aidoc, where employment began in August 2017. As an A.I Algorithm Engineering Team Leader, responsibilities include managing a team of four researchers and overseeing the deployment of algorithms in production. Ariel has been pivotal in utilizing state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques in Computer Vision and initiating Deep Learning based NLP projects of strategic value. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Algorithm Researcher at Aidoc, leading research on CT and X-Ray scans for abnormality detection, and developing innovative methods to enhance accuracy through weakly labeled data. Previous roles include Algorithm Team Leader and Developer at the Israel Defense Forces, as well as Researcher Team Leader for algorithmic projects in collaboration with academic institutions. Ariel holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
