Robert Watkins is a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Aidrivers Ltd. since January 2019, specializing in Drive by Wire & Sensing for trucks and small platforms, with a successful track record of deploying diesel and electric vehicle conversions to market under ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards. Prior experience includes roles as an Autonomy Engineer at Bilfinger UK and a Junior System Engineer at SOLA FUTURE ENERGY, where Robert contributed to optimizing battery systems. Additional internships in the solar energy sector and as a Student Teaching Assistant at Stellenbosch University further enriched Robert's engineering background.
