Nuno Ferro

Nuno Ferro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Nuno is currently working at AiFi Inc. as a Software Deployment Engineering Manager since May 2022. Previously, they worked at Sky Technology Centre - Portugal as a Senior Engineering Manager and Reliability Manager from January 2013 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for platform design, operation, planning, coordinating change and improvement processes, managing risks, problems, and incidents. Nuno also worked as a DevOps Engineer / team lead from May 2015 to February 2019, playing a major role in implementing DevOps principles and leading the Lisbon side of the IMP team. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Sky Store backend platform from June 2013 to May 2015, focusing on performance optimization.

Additionally, Nuno Ferro worked as an Independent Consultant at DotPT / ConteudoBinário from January 2008 to January 2020, providing project management, counseling, development, and system administration services. Nuno also worked at FreshCloud as a Senior Developer from April 2012 to June 2013, mainly focused on .Net development for Sharepoint. Nuno has experience in managing SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Nuno Ferro obtained their high school education from Escola Secundária José Saramago between 1997 and 2001, majoring in Computers. Later, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Management Information Technology from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa from 2007 to 2010.
