Tomas Rivera

Tomas Rivera has a strong background in technical operations and research engineering. Tomas is currently working at AiFi Inc. as the Director of Technical Operations since September 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions as the TechOps Engineering Manager from November 2021 to August 2022, Technical Lead from January 2021 to October 2021, and Research Engineer from January 2019 to January 2021. Tomas also completed an internship as a Research Engineer at AiFi Inc. from October 2018 to January 2019. Before joining AiFi Inc., Tomas worked at CIMAT as a Research Engineer for a brief period in November-December 2016.

Tomas Rivera's education history begins in 2015 when they enrolled at the Polytechnic University of Sinaloa. Tomas pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering and completed their studies in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Tomas also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the "Introduction To Swift Programming" course and the "Machine Learning" course, both through Coursera Course Certificates. In 2017, they obtained certifications in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Convolutional Neural Networks," all through Coursera.

In 2018, Tomas obtained the certification for "Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms" through Coursera. Lastly, in 2020 they obtained certifications in "Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow," "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning," and "Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow," all through Coursera.

Additionally, in 2016, Tomas obtained the "Fluidez de Duolingo en inglés: Avanzado (Estimado)" certification from Duolingo.
