Ami Parekh is the Global Head of Investment Accounting and Reporting at AIG, where they oversee comprehensive investment accounting functions. With over 20 years of progressive experience in investment accounting, accounting policy, and climate reporting across the insurance and financial services industries, they have a strong proficiency in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP. Previously, Ami held roles at AXA XL, including Head of Investment Reporting, as well as senior management positions in various organizations, enhancing efficiency in financial reporting through proven leadership. Ami is currently pursuing a Chartered Accountant designation in Accounting and Finance, along with a Certified Public Accountant credential, an MBA in Finance, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
