Barbara Chamberlain

Barbara Chamberlain, CPRIA, is the Director of Art Collection Management at Private Client Select, where they leverage 25 years of experience in collections management and risk prevention for private collectors and museums across the U.S. In addition to their role at Private Client Select, Barbara is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, teaching courses that prepare museum professionals for the private sector. Previously, they served as the Director of Art Collection Management at AIG and were a museum registrar at the Appleton Museum of Art, where they managed a substantial collection spanning multiple cultures and centuries. Barbara holds a Master’s Degree in Museology/Museum Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and Psychology from Smith College.
