Can Wang is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in risk management and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as Director and Actuary for AIG Risk Management since September 2021, Can Wang's responsibilities include updating excess commercial auto, general liability, and workers' compensation rater systems. Previously, Can Wang held the position of Vice President in Quantitative Risk Management at Beecher Carlson, where engagement with brokers and clients focused on risk calculation and modeling. Prior tenure at AIG from 2013 to 2020 involved significant contributions in capital modeling, insurance liability risk assessment, and advanced statistical modeling. Can Wang holds a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Columbia University and has a strong background in mathematics and physics from The University of Hong Kong and other institutions.
