Carolyne Spackman serves as Vice President and Chief Economist in the Country Risk division at AIG, a position held since May 2009, focusing on global economic and political conditions, as well as country risk analysis for both emerging and developed markets. Prior to AIG, Carolyne contributed to the International Monetary Fund's Global Financial Stability Division, conducting research and co-authoring significant publications related to financial stability. Carolyne also interned at the US Treasury's Office of International Affairs, gaining experience in international economic analysis. An accomplished speaker, Carolyne presents economic insights at various conferences and engages with Fortune 500 clients and advisory boards. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economics from American University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
