Chris Bumgardner serves as the Global Head of Marine Claims at AIG since June 2023, managing AIG's worldwide Marine Claims proposition with a focus on customer-centricity and technical leadership. Concurrently, Chris has been a Logistics Officer in the US Marine Corps Reserve since May 2006. Before joining AIG, Chris held multiple Managing Director positions at FedEx from April 2016 to July 2023, overseeing global trade services, transportation operations in the Americas, and operational excellence in US brokerage. Chris holds a Master of Science in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Auburn University. Additional education includes training at the Expeditionary Warfare School.
