Damian Matthews is a strategic and innovative leader with over 20 years of experience in IT, Data, Risk, and Financial Services. They began their career as an Application Developer at BP and later at Aeromark Ltd before joining AIG in 2004. At AIG, they held various roles, including Application Development Manager and Head of BI Solutions, before becoming the Head of GRC Strategic Program in 2019, where they are responsible for consolidating Governance, Risk, and Compliance practices on an integrated platform. Damian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth and a Master's in Engineering in Risk Engineering and Systems Analytics from Clemson University.
