David Palincsar

David Palincsar currently serves as the Associate Audit Director for IT SOX at AIG, overseeing IT audit SOX processes for the General Insurance portfolio since February 2020. Prior to this, David held various leadership roles at Bank of America from July 2006 to February 2020, including Vice President positions in both Programmer Professional Markets and Senior Business Controls Specialist. Responsibilities included managing audit, risk management, and compliance deliverables for a significant portfolio, developing software development standards, and leading several key initiatives such as the Report Optimization Project that achieved substantial cost savings. David also has experience in process design and release management, with a strong focus on governance and quality assurance across multiple applications. David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, and in Information and Operations Management from Texas A&M University.
