Delia C. serves as the Chief Risk Officer for Latin America at AIG since December 2018. Previously, Delia held the position of LATAM Risk Manager at Assurant from November 2014 to November 2018, overseeing the comprehensive management of various risks through the optimization of Economic Capital. Prior to Assurant, Delia was the Chief Risk Officer at GMX SEGUROS from September 2013 to November 2014, responsible for risk management functions. Delia also served as the Chief Risk Officer at HSBC from January 2009 to November 2011, implementing and updating methodologies for measuring Financial Risks and coordinating the implementation of the Risk Based Capital model in Mexico. Delia holds a licenciatura in actuarial sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and multiple diplomas related to finance and managerial skills from prestigious institutions.
