Diego R. currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer for EMEA at AIG, where responsibilities include aligning risk practices and developing sustainability strategies across 27 territories. Previously, Diego co-founded QnityRe and served as its Chief Risk Officer for Europe, focusing on supporting SMEs with insurance solutions. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, Allianz Group, and Generali, where strategic transformation, risk management, and capital management were central themes. Early in the career, Diego held positions in risk management at Allianz Italy and Generali Bank, and co-founded an internet service company, achieving significant growth in Latin America. Diego holds an MSc in Risk Management and Insurance from MIB Trieste School of Management and a BEng in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
