Dirk Strohmeier-Scheu

Dirk Strohmeier-Scheu is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in operations, compliance, and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Operations for the DACH region at AIG since October 2015, Dirk has also held positions as Risk Officer and Compliance Officer for the DACH and Nordics regions. Prior to AIG, Dirk worked at GE Capital as a Compliance Officer and Lead Auditor, and at DZ BANK AG as both Lead Auditor and Senior Auditor. Dirk's career began at Dresdner Bank, where roles included Auditor, Accountant, and Lending Officer. Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
