Ian Davies is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and management across various segments of the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer for SME Commercial and Head of SME Package and Commercial Combined in the UK at AIG since April 2015, Ian also oversees the regional management of the Personal Property sector for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this role, Ian held multiple leadership positions at Direct Line Group from January 2010 to March 2015, including Head of Personal Property Underwriting and Head of Sainsbury's Insurance. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in Household Products and Underwriting at HOME AND LEGACY INSURANCE SERVICES LIMITED from September 2000 to December 2009. Ian's educational background includes attendance at Dr Challoners Grammar School.
