Jiazhen Peng is currently the Assistant Director of Property and Catastrophe Risk at AIG, overseeing the ERM review of catastrophe models and supporting business leaders with innovative analytical projects. Previously, they served as a Senior Engineer at AIR Worldwide, contributing to numerous model updates and consulting projects from 2016 to 2022. Jiazhen holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware, where they developed a stochastic game theoretic optimization model for disaster risk management, as well as a Master’s in Control Theory and Engineering from Tongji University. Before earning these advanced degrees, Jiazhen completed a Bachelor of Science in Automation at Southwest Jiaotong University. In their leisure time, they enjoy a variety of sports and culinary pursuits, as well as traveling and socializing.
