John Whitbourn

John Whitbourn is currently the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Property Underwriting Manager at AIG, where they manage accounts across the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, and the Middle East. With a career that began as Head of Claims at The City Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. from 1994 to 1998, they subsequently underwrote a diverse portfolio of property and liability business at Aspen Re and related firms until 2003. Since joining AIG, John has specialized in chemical and pharmaceutical accounts and has experience in various property sectors including onshore oil and heavy industry manufacturing. They are also pursuing a degree in Building Surveying at the University of Brighton.
