Matthew Carver

Matthew Carver is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in engineering and strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security Engineering Strategy at AIG since May 2019, Matthew focuses on architecture and strategy for Endpoint, Data Protection, and Network capabilities. Prior roles include Head of Network Defense and Head of Internal Network Defense at AIG, as well as various significant positions at Accenture, including Security Senior Principal in Cyber Investigations and Forensics Response. Previous experience encompasses roles at CSC as a Sr. Consultant and Cloud Security Architect, and at Symantec as a Principal Security Engineer. Matthew began a career in cybersecurity as a Security Engineer at Mountain Wave, Inc. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, completed in 2001.
